Story of Stories

LCDC SEOUL is named after “Le Conte Des Contes” meaning “story of stories”, and it is a space where brands with various stories gather to create a new story. Just as several short stories come together to form a single book, each story created by independent brands, large and small, cooperate with each other and unfolds as a single story. Unlike the existing complex spaces, LCDC SEOUL operates in a solid concept and structure that maximizes the strengths of each brand.

“Le Conte Des Contes” is another name for a story book “Pentamerone” collected by poet Giambattista Basile. This book is the initial collection of stories which contains total 50 different stories, consisted of 10 stories each in 5 chapters. Under the single large context, each story unfolds with different themes and motifs.
